迎新最前线——志愿工作者的故事

炎炎夏末，难敌新生求学渴望；无私奉献，方显志愿者真诚尽心。为了确保迎新工作高效有序的进行，真正做到让学生满意、让家长放心，9月8日起，湖南科技大学永利欢乐娱人城开展了为期两天的迎新工作，同时在此期间采取了一系列人性化的措施。
早在数日前，我院就已做好了迎新准备工作，对引导和安排新生的流程进行了统一规范。为确保新生快速适应学校，我院采用了一站式服务的方法：车站迎接新生，新生到达确认，了解校园卡领取及使用情况，领取宿舍钥匙和进行志愿服务指导。每个宿舍都有一名志愿者，负责联系新生及家长、将新生接到宿舍并告知注意相关注意事项，做好新生与学院之间的衔接。同时还在一区、二区宿舍门口专设迎新志愿服务点，以便更好地引导新生。
9日早上七点，迎新工作者们已经来到迎新地点进行布置，不久之后全部迎新工作都已经“严阵以待”。随着一波又一波新生的到来，他们也忙得不亦乐乎。有的在接待处耐心地接受家长和新同学的询问，有的在为刚刚下车口渴的家长接水，有的微笑着为学弟学妹指路……还有部分志愿者焦急地等待着自己负责的新生，积极和他们联系，生怕他们找不到地方。由于天气比较闷热，迎新志愿者个个都是满头大汗，楼梯上上下下好几个来回，还要帮忙接过新生的行李，但他们却毫无怨言。有一位志愿者打趣说，我这早饭都像没吃一样，去北校接了一趟新生，都饿得不行了。可问起他们累不累的时候，他们都说：“累肯定是累啊，可是听着家长对我们满意的评价，自己都高兴得不行了呢！”。还有的说：“我们自己去年就是这样被志愿者带进校园的，我们现在成了学长学姐，我觉得这是一种传承……。”
齐聚商院，喜迎新生，共创辉煌。2017级新生的到来，为我院注入了新鲜血液。短短的两天，我院迎新工作者无处不在展现着他们的热情、无私和耐心。
