困难不足为惧，服务敢为人先

7月7日上午，湖南科技大学永利欢乐娱人城的同学赶赴洪水受灾地区湘潭县乌石镇开展以“爱心服务护文化·科技调研促发展”为主题的暑期“三下乡”社会实践活动。
据了解，连日暴雨造成的洪涝灾害导致了地下水水质变差，暴雨过后的曝晒引起了地下水水量的减少，由于人们的生活用水以地下水为主，水质的变差与水量的减少对人们的生活造成了严重影响。
志愿者暂居在乌石峰中学，乡镇学校的基础设施较差，电路负载能力低，为解决这项问题，协助电力人员，积极抢修；针对地下水问题，与各处协商，不畏炎热，从远处调水以保证人们的日常生活；对于学校食堂的厨具及柴火问题，同学们自给自足，轮番上阵，一个个化身农民动手砍柴烧火煮饭，实实在在体验了一把农村生活。
在一天的劳累过后，同学们为第二天事项做着相关的准备活动。“相信我们接下来的生活会很精彩，累但快乐着。”活动负责人谭珂翎说道。
