践行时代精神，积极下乡实践

为深入贯彻落实习近平总书记系列重要讲话精神，进一步引导广大青年学生深入基层实践，湖南科技大学永利欢乐娱人城开展了本次暑期科技、文化、助老“三下乡”社会实践活动。7月7日8：30，我院33名志愿者组成的2017年暑期“三下乡”活动小组在杨美琴老师的带领下，前往彭德怀元帅的故乡——湘潭县乌市镇进行为期5天的调研实践活动。
据了解，本次活动结合我校实际以“爱心服务护文化，科技调研促发展”为主题，以基于新农村农业经济背景下农业基地特色产业发展现状的研究——以乌石镇为例”为活动路线，实地调研当地农业基地营销模式现状，深入农村进行科学调研生态基地的暑期社会实践活动，并将通过助老及传播红色文化等志愿服务活动，保护传统文化，提高大学生社会责任意识及吃苦耐劳奉献助人的精神。
纵骄阳似火，仍激情不减。志愿者进行了歌词接龙、猜数字游戏，将气氛推到了高潮，忘却了疲惫，增进了感情。经过两个小时左右的车程，活动小组终于抵达乌石镇。乌石峰中学负责人对我院活动小组进行了接待并表示热烈欢迎，向活动成员介绍了乌石镇的有关概况，并将大家安排到学校宿舍入住。将人员整顿好以后，志愿者对乌石镇进行了实地调查，更为详细地掌握了乌石镇现状、灾后情况、产业状况以及居民生活的基本信息。至此，“三下乡”实践活动正式开始。
