路漫漫其修远兮，吾自奔跑不息

2016年10月30日，因天气原因推迟一周的湖南科技大学秋季运动会继续在北校田径场如火如荼地举行，阴沉的天气和冰冷的寒风阻挡不了观众们的热情，在一片欢呼声与呐喊声中，学生甲组男子、女子5000米预决赛拉开序幕。我院女将黄莹一路领先，毫无悬念摘得长跑桂冠！
一声枪响划破湿冷的空气，选手们齐刷刷冲出了起跑线。一圈，两圈……选手们开始没力了，众人的距离不断被拉长。对面我院观众席上呐喊声一浪高过一浪，摆臂、迈腿，赛程已过半，黄莹看起来仍是毫不费力，“0679”的号码牌随意地随风乱颤着。冲刺了！脸上稍显倦色的黄莹目光变得更加犀利，只见她卯足力气，如离弦之箭飞一般地冲向终点。观众席上沸腾了，“女神！女神！……”欢呼声响彻赛场，经久不衰。
我院另外三位运动健儿覃小婵、单金鑫和郝嘉旭也代表我院出战长跑比赛。他们的坚持与努力也同样见证着经管人无惧无畏、永不言弃的可嘉精神。
“东风吹！战鼓擂！我们经管怕过谁！”震耳欲聋的口号响彻云霄，我院离十六连冠又近了一步。
